Cwmorthin slate quarry/mine is a very beautiful and quite remote location high above Blaenau Ffestiniog in Wales. Here the light is constantly changing and the old barracks sit in stark testimony to those men who toiled so hard under terrible conditions in "The Slaughterhouse"
